VESSEL Co., Inc. (headquarter in Higashinari-ku, Osaka; hereinafter “VESSEL”) announces that Junichi Taguchi, who previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer, assumed the position of Chairman, and Yuichi Taguchi has succeeded him as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 22, 2023.

 

Backgrounds of the President Change

Junichi Taguchi had served as President of VESSEL Co., Inc. for 28 years since 1996.
In order to further drive our new businesses forward, Yuichi Taguchi has been chosen to take over the position.

 

Comments from the New President

I am aware that I have taken over the baton, which is very significant, as the head of VESSEL Group, a company with a history and the brand that have been in existence for more than 100 years and a group of more than 750 employees. In order to further develop the VESSEL Group, I will firmly inherit the VESSEL-ism that has been sustained for 100 years, and reform the operations to meet the needs of the current era. With the united efforts of all employees, we will first become the No.1 tool manufacturer in Japan, and one day, we will aim to become the No.1 tool manufacturer in the world.

Apr. 2013 - Joined VESSEL INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD.
Sep. 2013 - Transferred to VESSEL (THAILAND) CO., LTD.
Oct. 2016 - Joined VESSEL Co., Inc. Served as Director, and as Department Head of Product Administration Department and Sales Department（Second Division) (concurrently).
Oct. 2022 - Appointed as Vice President.
Mar. 2023 - Appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer
Present - Serves as President of FUKUCHIYAMA INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD., President of VESSEL EUROPE, and President of VESSEL TOOLS U.S.A. INC.
